Terms for the agreement

  • From 2024, only AMA's two fully open access journals (JAMA Network Open and JAMA Health Forum) are included in the agreement. For the other AMA journals you can instead self-archive a copy of your article directly upon publishing.
  • You need to be the corresponding author.
  • You need to be affiliated with KI and you should also state this in the article.
  • The research should have been predominantly conducted at KI.
  • Use your email address ending with @ki.se and enter Karolinska Institutet as your institution to facilitate identification.

Which journals are included in the agreement?

From 2024 the agreement only covers the two fully open access journals, JAMA Network Open and JAMA Health Forum. For the other AMA journals you have the possibility to self-archive your article directly upon publication.
