KIB talks: Responsible use of AI in systematic reviews

Systematic reviews are an important part of evidence-based healthcare, but they are often time- and resource-intensive. Can AI tools help us streamline this work without compromising quality, transparency, and reproducibility?

New AI tools are constantly emerging, often claiming to be able to perform systematic reviews in a very short time. But how well do these tools actually work? In this presentation, we take a look at current research on AI support for systematic reviews and highlight the parts of the process that are currently considered most promising for automation with AI. We will also go through some things to consider to ensure responsible use of AI in line with existing guidelines.

This presentation is for doctoral students and researchers planning to conduct an evidence synthesis, such as a systematic review. No interactivity is required, but it will be possible to ask questions.

KIB Talks are held in English but we also speak Swedish.

Instructions: This KIB Talk will take place via Zoom. A link will be sent to all registered participants. If you do not receive the confirmation mail, please check your Junk E-mail folder. Note! If you cannot attend the session, please cancel your registration.

We are also happy to organise a KIB Talk (a workshop or a presentation "on demand") specially for your department or other.  Please let us know what you're interested in!
