KIB Talks: Swedish research funding and the requirements for open access in publications and research data (lunch webinar)

In this webinar we summarize what researchers should bear in mind regarding open access in publications and research data when they receive grants from the Swedish Research Council. Open access mandates of other Swedish research funders will also be addressed.

The Swedish Research Council drives the development towards open access to scientific publications and research data together with other research funders in and outside Sweden. One of the conditions for receiving a grant from the Council is that you comply with the new guidelines for publication with open access from October 2022. The national goal is also for a transition to open access for research data to be fully implemented no later than 2026.

This event is for KI-affiliated researchers, doctoral students and administrative staff at departments that are involved in Swedish-funded research projects.

KIB Talks are held in English but we also speak Swedish.

Instructions: This KIB Talk will take place via Zoom. A link will be sent to all registered participants. If you do not receive the confirmation mail, please check your Junk E-mail folder. Note! If you cannot attend the session, please cancel your registration.

During the semester, KIB offers a series of KIB Talks open to all doctoral students, researchers and other employees at KI. The subjects varies and we add new topics regularly. See the calendar for times and registration. We are also happy to organise a KIB Talk (a workshop or a presentation "on demand") specially for your department or other.  Please let us know what you're interested in!

Please be aware that the library will not provide a certificate of attendance for this KIB Talk.
