Data Access Unit

Since the autumn of 2020 a new group, the Data Access Unit (DAU), has been established at the Karolinska Institutet University Library (KIB). We are a team with different competencies and our task is to support you as a researcher and employee at KI in the process of publishing and sharing your research data.

DAU works closely with the University Library's Publication Support. Together we can give you support throughout the scientific publishing process. The DAU group is part of the Research Data Office (RDO) and within RDO responsible for publishing and sharing KI datasets, both with fully open access and limited access. DAU assists you when publishing data descriptions in the Swedish National Data Service's (SND) catalog. This includes a review of the descriptions created via SND's documentation system DORIS.

Publishing and sharing research data facilitates reuse and reproducibility.
