New AI resource for students at KI
Generative AI tools – the type of AI that can generate new material such as text, sound, and images – are frequently used by students. But how do these tools work? Can you trust their output? How can you write better prompts, that is, the questions you ask these tools? And finally, how may students use AI responsibly in their studies?

On behalf of KI, the University Library has created a web resource with advice and recommendations to help KI students make wise and informed choices as they use generative AI tools in their studies.
What does the resource contain?
The resource provides you with useful advice, practical examples, and key information about AI for students, including:
- How generative AI tools work – what they are capable of and not
- How you generally may – and may not – use AI in your studies
- How you may use AI to enhance your learning
- Checklists and self-tests to guide you towards smart and responsible use of AI
- How generative AI tools affect the environment and society
Learn how to use AI effectively and responsibly in your studies!
