Scientific resources during the COVID-19 pandemic

The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic have consequences for higher education and research in many ways. All education at KI now take place digitally and remotely. We have gathered some resources that are freely available during the pandemic and resources that might be useful for distance learning.

Freely available COVID-19 resources

Medical Library Association (MLA) lists COVID-19 related resources now openly accessible:

Online resources suitable for distance learning, available to KI students and staff 

  • AccessMedicine - Medical textbooks, procedural videos, pictures, a selection of cases, drug database and study tools.
  • Henry Stewart Talks – Audio visual presentations within the subjects of medicine, internal medicine, biochemistry, pharmacology, biotechnology and drugs and their actions.
  • JoVE (Journal of Visualized Experiments) and JoVE Science Education- Scientific video journals and educational videos covering for example biology, biochemistry, immunology, medicine. KI has access to parts of the material.
  • Sage Research Methods – Videos covering every aspect of the research process and hundreds of qualitative, quantitative and mixed methods.
