Publish open access without fees in Oxford University Press journals

New agreement gives KI researchers the opportunity to publish open access articles without fees in more than 300 hybrid journals* from Oxford University Press.

With the publisher Oxford University Press, the library has signed a three-year agreement that covers both the library's subscription cost and open access fees for publication in their hybrid journals.

The library already has agreements that provide KI-affiliated researchers with free open access publication in journals from BMJ, Cambridge University Press, Frontiers, Mark Allen, PLOS, the Royal Society of Chemistry, Springer and Taylor & Francis, as well as several agreements that give discounts on the publication fee.

More information about our publishing agreements can be found on the library's information page on open access.

*A hybrid journal is a journal that is basically subscription-based, but where individual articles may be made open access, usually by paying a publishing fee (article processing charge or APC).
