Workshop: Visualise your research
This workshop is fully booked! Please note there are still spots left at the same workshop 10 December. This workshop will give you an introduction to the basic principles of data visualisation in the life sciences as well as give you the chance to apply the principles in an experimental and creative setting.
We will start off by looking at and discussing what makes visualisation such a powerful tool for communicating science. You will get to explore different aspects of visual encoding and visual literacy to get the most out of your visualisations. The concluding part of the workshop is a more practical, hands-on exercise where you will get to apply the principles of design using pen and paper to create visual representations of data from scratch.
Target group: This workshop is for doctoral students and researchers at KI. You must have and supply an email-address with the ending @ki.se.
The workshop is held in a study room at KI. You will not need a computer for this workshop, but feel free to bring your own computer. Language: English (but we do also speak Swedish).
Tip! Use the Add to your calendar-function (Lägg till i din kalender).
