Guidance in information searching
Welcome to a creative and problem solving opportunity!
- Do you need help with searching for information before you start your essay work?
- Has the number of references in your essay work grown so much that you need help with structuring and organising them?
- Perhaps you have forgotten how to make a “table of contents” in MS Word?
The choices are yours regarding which questions you bring to our librarians. It can involve any type of question such as how to find suitable search terms, choosing the best database for a particular topic, defining and limiting your searches. We can also help you with your reference management and tips on how to best use your word processing software such as MS Word.
Regular opening hours are Monday to Friday, 10 – 15 (Flemingsberg) and 11.30 – 13 (Solna pop-up library). Drop-in! If you find it difficult to make it durig our drop-in sessions, please book an appointment. You can also contact us via chat, telephone or e-mail.
Book an appointment
You can always come to our librarians for a drop-in support session. If you want to be sure that we have time for you when you need it you can also book an appointment. That also gives us a chance to prepare for your questions. These appointments are mainly to help out with searching for information. You cannot book an appointment for reference management or Word help.
You can also get help even if you're not on campus with our online support. Book an appointment online and make sure to check the "Online"-box. Check the form for details about the technical equipment.
We welcome bachelor's, master's and doctoral students. If you are a doctoral student we recommend that you book an appointment.
You can also attend the workshops for doctoral and master's students arranged by the library.
