Guidance in information searching
- your support in searching for scientific literature and managing references.
Are you looking for scientific articles or writing references and need advice? If you are a student or doctoral student at KI, you can get help from our librarians.
- Do you need help with searching for information before you start your essay work?
- Has the number of references in your essay work grown so much that you need help with structuring and organising them?
- Perhaps you have forgotten how to make a “table of contents” in MS Word?
Drop-in support (online)
The choices are yours regarding which questions you bring to our librarians. It can involve any type of question such as how to find suitable search terms, choosing the best database for a particular topic, defining and limiting your searches. We can also help you with your reference management and tips on how to best use your word processing software such as MS Word.
Book an appointment
If you want to be sure that we have time for you when you need it you can also book an appointment (right now only online support). That also gives us a chance to prepare for your questions.
Check the form for details about the technical equipment.
We welcome bachelor's and master's students. If you are a doctoral student we recommend that you book an appointment.
You can also attend the workshops for doctoral and master's students arranged by the library.
