To learn more invite the University Library to a meeting with your research group, your department, or other relevant meeting, for a short presentation on one of the topics below. Presentations will be given in English or Swedish, and depending on subject, will also focus on the most relevant content for your field of research. This short session will introduce you to alternative interfaces to PubMed. It’s still the content of the Medline database you are searching, but with different interfaces and other features. You will find possibilities to cluster your results, use Gene ontology and see networks of top authors. Maybe it’s even better than PubMed?

During 15 minutes you will get an insight into how molecular information can be accessed from bibliographic databases, including a demonstration of the award winning enhanced reading tool, Reflect

This session will give you an insight into the reasons for EndNote, and you will learn to download full text articles automatically and create references from PDF files, as well as get familiar with the Web-based version of EndNote – EndNote Web.
